Picture of Plenty Coups State Park

Situated within the Crow Reservation in south central Montana, this park was the home of Plenty Coups, last chief of the Crow. Plenty Coups' log home and store remain as evidence of the chief's efforts to lead his people in adopting the lifestyle of the white man. The park is 4,033 feet in elevation and encompasses 195 acres. The museum on site offers disabled accessibility and flush toilets. The park has vault toilets, grills/fire rings, picnic tables, trash cans, and drinking water. There is no overnight camping allowed, and day use fees of $4.00 per vehicle (or $1.00 walk-in) are charged. There are several golf courses and museums nearby in Billings, and the town of Pryor is less than one mile away which can provide some amenities to visitors.
